Pediatric Disaster Preparedness Conference
This groundbreaking conference brings together experts, healthcare providers, emergency planners, and child advocates to spotlight the vital—but often overlooked—role of pediatric patients in disaster planning and response. Designed to catalyze change at institutional, local, and state levels, the event provides a deep dive into the specialized needs and vulnerabilities of children in times of crisis. The goal of this conference is to educate attendees on different aspects of children and disasters, while allowing them to network with other professionals facing the same challenges. The conference aims to provide attendees with resources, ideas, and encouragement to go back to their agency and ensure children are included in all aspects of disaster planning.
