Brett Russell, MD is a pediatric critical care medicine fellow at Nemours Children's Hospital in Wilmington, DE. Dr. Russell is a physician-paramedic whose career spans prehospital medicine, critical care transport, and pediatric intensive care, bringing a systems-based perspective to the care of critically ill children. He has been an active member with Maryland Task Force 1 within the FEMA National Urban Search & Rescue System, contributing to multidisciplinary disaster response training and operations. Dr. Russell is excited to join Nemours Children's Health as a pediatric intensivist at their partner Wolfson Children's Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida in August 2026.
