Robin Goodman, MSN, RN, CPEN
Robin Goodman is the Project Manager for the Emergency Medical Services for Children Innovation and Improvement Center’s (EIIC) Knowledge Management Domain. Before her current role, Robin served as a Lead RN and the designated Pediatric Emergency Care Coordinator in the emergency department of a freestanding children’s hospital and Level I trauma center for over 20 years. She has served as past-president of the Pediatric Liaison Nurses Los Angeles County, past-chair of the Pediatric Advisory Committee at the Los Angeles County EMS Agency, past-chair of the Emergency Nurses Association’s Pediatric Committee, pediatric representative to the Base Advisory Committee at the Los Angeles County EMS Agency, and currently serves as the emergency nurse representative to the State of California Emergency Medical Services for Children Technical Advisory Committee.
Robin contributes as faculty for the Emergency Nurses Association’s Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). She is a frequent speaker at pediatric emergency care conferences and a contributing author to ENPC and TNCC provider manuals. She co-leads the EDAP Conference Series, an annual live and virtual event that attracts nurses and prehospital clinicians from across the country. This high-impact series emphasizes best practices in pediatric emergency care, bridging knowledge gaps and fostering collaboration between hospital and EMS clinicians. Her publications include peer-reviewed articles and national policy statements created in partnership with organizations such as the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American College of Emergency Physicians, and the Emergency Nurses Association.
