DNC Session 7: Pediatric Specific Elements of Disaster Planning
As a guide for hospitals to use in pediatric disaster management planning, the EIIC created the Checklist of Essential Pediatric Considerations for Every Hospital's Disaster Policies. In this session learners will hear how the checklist can be used to build a hospital disaster plan, as well as what to do with the plan to ensure it will work during a disaster. The checklist include 11 domains or topics that should be addressed in disaster plans specific to children.
