Carolyn Ievers-Landis, Ph.D., Diplomate in Behavioral Sleep Medicine (DBSM)

Dr. Carolyn Ievers-Landis, Ph.D. DBSM is a professor of pediatrics at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University (CWRU) School of medicine. Dr. Ievers-Landis is also a licensed clinical psychologist with her Diplomate in Behavioral Sleep Medicine. Promoted on the research track, she has published more than 100 scientific articles and book chapters, including in the area of pediatric disaster preparedness and response. Dr. Ievers-Landis has been the Behavioral health Co-Committee Chair for ASPR Region V for Kids since 2019, served as a Behavioral health Domain Co-Chair for the Pediatric Pandemic network, and is currently a subject matter expert for providing technical assistance for the HHS’ Pediatric Mental health Care Access (PMHCA) program. Dr. Ievers-Landis was a member of the editorial group for the revision of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Family Readiness Toolkit published in September of 2024. Most recently, Dr. Ievers-Landis is conducting and disseminating research on pediatric emergency medicine providers’ perceptions of behavioral/mental health management in the ED and on developing models of factors predicting children’s hospitals’ website dissemination of pediatric disaster preparedness resources.
