Dr. Steven “Jason” Crellin, DO is Chief of Pediatric Emergency Medicine at Geisinger, a 9-hospital health system that cares for children from across 34 counties in northern, mostly rural, Pennsylvania where his team coordinates system-wide pediatric readiness efforts. Clinically, he works in the Janet Weis Children's Hospital/Geisinger Medical Center Emergency Department. He is board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine. He works with a dedicated and innovative team that has helped develop a nationally recognized model for integrating pediatric emergency care into general and rural emergency departments. Dr. Crellin is an active educator and simulation leader with a focus on quality improvement, systems-based care, and advancing pediatric emergency outcomes. He enjoys spending his spare time with his 6 children, especially outside mountain biking.
