Learnings from the Disaster Mental Health ECHO Series: Preparedness and Response to Catastrophic Events

The Disaster Mental Health: Preparedness and Response to Catastrophic Events Extension for Community Health Outcomes (ECHO) Series presents a unique 6-part virtual series on disaster mental health for pediatric primary care and family medicine clinicians (DO, MD, NP, PA). 60-minute videos will cover: Signs/Symptoms of Trauma, Psychological First Aid, Anticipatory Behavioral Health Guidance, Brief Pediatric Psychosocial Interventions, Burnout and Compassion Fatigue, and a Panel Discussion on Mental Health Crisis and Safety Planning.

Certificate & Completion Information


This program includes 6 sessions, which may be completed in any order. To receive continuing education credit and a certificate, all sessions must be completed.

  • Describe anticipatory guidance and brief psychosocial interventions that can be implemented in the office visit promote emotional and behavioral regulation and well-being.
