Matt Wain is a retired senior executive with 35+ years of progressive leadership experience and documented success in healthcare operations, programmatic growth, market development, emergency preparedness, and organization management.  Matt most recently served as the President, University Hospital Division, Emory Healthcare.  He began his Emory Healthcare tenure in 2019 as CEO, Emory University Hospital.  Prior to relocating to Emory, Matt worked in executive leadership roles at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Health, Charleston, SC and at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, PA.  Matt began his professional career as an active duty military officer and helicopter pilot.  He retired from reserve component military service in 2008.
