Julia Magana, MD Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine UC Davis

I am a pediatric emergency medicine physician, member of the child abuse team at UC Davis, and EM Pulse Podcast host. EM Pulse Podcast uses patient and provider stories to understand the science we all need to know. We speak with patients, providers, experts and investigators about cutting edge emergency medicine topics. Our goal is to bring research and expert opinion to the bedside and I love doing it! I am also a disseminator for PECARN and help clinicians understand the results from large PECARN studies. My research focuses on differentiating between accidental and non-accidental injuries in young children in the ED.
