The PPN is excited to offer a different way to learn Disaster Science from the Disaster Science Scholars Program. Select recorded sessions from this program are now available on demand, with continuing education (CE) credits available for most sessions.

Whether you’re new to disaster science or looking to deepen your expertise, these recordings provide flexible, high-impact learning on core topics in disaster research, emergency preparedness, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Each session is led by experts and designed to equip learners with tools to improve emergency response and advance research in high-stakes environments.

Learning Objectives

  • Apply foundational health services research methodologies and data access strategies to pediatric disaster science.
  • Design and evaluate interdisciplinary, community-based disaster science projects, including proof-of-concept initiatives and program evaluations.
  • Develop skills in manuscript and grant writing, faculty development, and collaborative team-building to advance pediatric disaster research.
