Nick Salzman EMT-P, BA has worked in EMS since 2005 and became a paramedic in 2008.  He has a variety of pre-hospital experience including urban, suburban, rural, transport, 911, and flight EMS.  Additional roles in those jobs included providing education, rendering training, and fulfilling support/officer roles.  In 2018 he joined the STARS Program at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital, and has helped grow and develop the Program since then.  He is the current Coordinator for the STARS Program which has been implemented at three hospitals.  In his spare time he enjoys chess, hiking, and holding his breath for a Dallas Cowboys Super Bowl win.
