Carl Eriksson is a pediatric critical care physician and Professor of Pediatrics at Oregon Health and Science University. He also serves as part of the leadership team for OHSU Health's Mission Control, the operational hub for the academic health system. This work includes ensuring that children have access to life-saving care during normal times and disasters, and he has a particular interest in preparedness for pediatric surge events. Outside OHSU, he serves in several state- and region-wide roles, as well as on the Executive Committee for the American Academy of Pediatrics' Council on Children and Disasters and the Disaster Domain Steering Committee for the Emergency Medical Services for Children's Innovation and Improvement Center.
