I am a clinical pharmacist in a pediatric hospital as well as a pharmacist on state and national disaster response teams and within emergency management.  I have a broad pharmacy background including retail pharmacy, general adult hospital pharmacy, large animal veterinary pharmacy, inpatient pediatric care including floor, intensive care, emergency department and operating rooms, disaster response pharmacy, and emergency management.  These experiences provided the groundwork for serving as a local, state and national pharmacy consultant for various organizations and projects.  Through the collaborative work, I have led significant emergency management and disaster response efforts which in the past had limited pharmacy input.  Through leadership roles, my multidisciplinary work will continue to expand into areas that pharmacists can have increasing impact and representation.
