Christine Chell, BSW, MBA
Chris is the lead Regional Healthcare Preparedness Coordinator (RHPC) for the Metro Health & Medical Preparedness Coalition. She has been doing this work since 2009. As lead RHPC she is responsible for the grant deliverables, leading the Coalition and working with Hospitals and Clinics. The Metro Healthcare Coalition is comprised of members from Hospitals, EMS, Emergency Management, Local Public Health, Home Care, Hospice and Long-Term Care from the 7-county metro area. We plan together because we respond together.
The Healthcare Coalition is supported through a federal grant from Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ADPR)
Chris has a bachelors' degree in Social Work and a master's degree in Business Administration. Prior to her in Emergency Preparedness, Chris worked a s a Hospital Social worker and then as Risk Manager for 10 years in the Metro Region.
