Self-paced learning begins in PPN Learn, where you will complete the required educational content. After completing the learning activity, follow the course link provided in PPN Learn to continue to PPN Continuing Education and complete the credit or certificate claiming process.

Start in PPN Learn

Complete the required video, module, course, book, or other learning activity in PPN Learn. When the learning activity is complete, PPN Learn will provide the course link and attendance code you need to continue the process in PPN Continuing Education.

How to Claim Credit or a Certificate

Open the Course in PPN Continuing Education

Click the course link provided in PPN Learn. A new browser tab will open and take you directly to the corresponding course page in PPN Continuing Education.

Register or Sign In

Select the Register/Take Course option and log in to your PPN Continuing Education account. If you do not already have an account, create one. After creating your account, return to PPN Learn and click the course link again.

Start the Course

Once logged in, click Take Course, then click the red Start Course button to begin the claiming process.

Enter Your Attendance Code

Enter the attendance code provided in PPN Learn and click Submit. After you see the confirmation message, click Next to continue.

Complete All Required CE Steps

Continue through the course by clicking Next and completing each required item. Depending on the activity, you may be asked to complete an evaluation, quiz, attendance confirmation, or other required step.

Claim Credit and Generate Your Certificate

Continue until you reach the Claim Credit page, then proceed to Generate Certificate. Click Download Certificate. Your certificate will also remain available under My Activities > Completed Activities.

Confirm Course Completion

Continue through the final screens until you see green lettering that says Complete Course. This confirms that you have completed the full claiming process.

Requirements May Vary by Activity

Not every self-paced activity includes the same requirements. Depending on the course, you may be asked to complete:

  • Attendance confirmation
  • Quiz questions
  • Course evaluation
